Oude Gueuze, written by D

Oude Gueuze pours light copper with thick longlasting head, smells of sour oaky funk but not very fruity.  The taste is quite lemon-y sour but not puckering, clean, a little granny apple comes through but a touch earth and leather is detected.  It is quite dry and crisp to the tongue.  One of D's favorites.
