Tonight we had the Hazelnut Brown Nectar by Rogue (Oregon). My tastebuds were obliterated by Chuck Norris. Or maybe it was the cold I had last week, but I didn't find much flavor in this beer. It had honey on the nose, a decent amber color (nyah nyah, the Jockamo was prettier), a tan fluffy head, an extremely smooth flavor. Honey and nutty overtones, the hazelnut is at the end. Not too flavorful, but probably a good summah beeyah. A bit thin, not creamy like a stout. Light bodied. Not overly boozy, which is good.
Addendum: my fridge is acting like a douche bag and it sounds like a lawnmower, so we turned it up, so we could turn it off for a while. Hence, the beers are TOO COLD. That might explain why this beer had less flavor at first. Duh. This is a beer that gets better when less chilled.
